If you really do have a headache, take  400- 600 mg. Ibuprofen every 6 hours. It is a better alternative than Acetaminophen, for both  headache and fever. So glad both you and your wife got vaccinated. Though some people are worried about side effects of the vaccine, I believe the potential benefit outweighs any risk, especially since I am in a high risk group, because of my age and preexisting heart condition.

Is it ok to ask you a medical question @Katgirl ? Just say no if I shouldn't be asking. I have no P1A1 antigen on my platelets. I hear Thrombocytopenia is part of Covid which is a standard risk for me regardless of COVID. Am I more likely to get seriously ill with Covid having that condition, or is my risk equal to anyone else. As I say don't answer if I am crossing a line here asking you that

Thrombocytopenia can be a complication of COVID,  for anyone,  If you are already prone to the condition, you are certainly at a higher risk to develop it, if you get COVID.  It’s simply common sense. Do check with your Physician, about your concerns. Perhaps you should be moved up in line, for receiving the vaccine.

Actually I had zero reaction to my first shot, not even the sore arm. Hoping for a repeat performance this time 🙏. I have heard reports indicating people have generally suffered greater reactions after the 2nd shot. Not sure if that true or not.

I had heard the same thing. I had The Moderna.  I had a mild headache after the first one, and felt a bit tired. After the second one, less of a headache and a bit tired again. Both times,  I had soreness at the injection site, which is to be expected. I was pleasantly surprised  that my reactions were so mild.
