I think it may have been due to taking @notsmokinjo to task, because she suggested that no decent music came out of NZ in the nineties. Or ever for that matter. I'm paraphrasing naturally, but I'm pretty sure that's the gist of it. 

I believe what I said was we (Australia) got beaten in our own top 100 count of the 90's by most of the English speaking word... at least we weren't beaten by the Kiwi's.... but I did my penance with a smile... as per instructions.... lol.... lots of good music has come out of NZ.... well lots of good musos have, they have all just moved here to make it big... the Finn Brothers, Max Merritt and the Meteors... all the Kiwi's come here to have success and then the kiwi's wanna claim em... even if they say they are Aussies now... my theory is if they wont claim Barnaby Joyce then they don't get the good ones like Russell Crowe or the Finns..... I think the kiwi's gave us Dragon too.

I learnt to sing it for the dawn service.... although when I am at a sport event and they play the kiwi anthem it may be try that I have sung the lyrics...
