CJA .... beating the addiction

Featured Replies

Sadly it is time to open the QT branch of the CJA... Cookie Jam Anonymous.....

Hi my name is Bert, and I am an addict. I have been addicted to Cookie Jam for nearly 2 weeks now. It is a constant urge to play and win and move to the next level... to get further along than my 'friends' or should I call them the enablers... they sucked me into their little Cookie Jam cult of procrastination and damnation... but no, I am an addict, I chose to down load it and I will be cured of this addiction.

So welcome, have a drink and lets beat this addiction together... I know you are out there my fellow addicts.

Sorry I was there to meet you Walter.... I was sadly trying to beat 402. ?

Some of you may already know of me from my confession. I am now on level 446.  I have managed to keep it to around one hour a day but that's only because of my kindle running out of battery life. I knew I may have a problem with this game. That's why I waited a good week before even opening the app once I had downloaded it.

Cookie Jam is not my first addiction. First it was WSOP, then Candy Crush. I went so far as to signup with facebook after Candy Jam support told me I needed to in order to get my boosters. This erased my hard work, by that time I was in the 600 level range, and I deleted it. WSOP was freezing up so I deleted that too.

Unfortunately at this time I have no desire to give up this addiction. Winter months are coming and this will be all I have. Maybe come next year I can let it go, but not now...…………….

My name is .... not important.. But I just want to say to anybody thinking of downloading this game ... go for it.. I have had this game for 10 months and am on level 132.... yep one three two...

it's a relaxing wee game..

So is there any truth to the rumour that Fluffy secretly works for the makers and has been soliciting it to new users to increase the junkies in the populace. Is Fluffy a pusher?? An enabler??? Can we send her our therapy bills????

501. Can't get past it though because it keeps closing the app in the middle of the level or tells me I need to install Amazon app store to play which is REALLY pissing me off because obviously I used the app store TO DOWNLOAD COOKIE JAM! Grrrrrrr

So my patience is wearing thin and Cookie Jam may be deleted in the next couple of days if things don't get better.... FAST!

Please note: this in no way means I'm giving up the CJ addiction.I will simply try Cookie Jam Blast instead and see if I have better luck keeping it open on my kindle

Hahahaha yes I would advise everyone to switch to cj blast ? no issues here ?

Ps maybe it depends what device you use, I'm on my phone and honestly no problems.

Welcome to the club Doreen... I see you fit into the category of our wee Fluffy one... totally in control of the addiction... unlike the other 3 of us.

Mine did that last week... I had to download an update....

Mine did that last week too and I downloaded the update and it's made it even worse. It could be my kindle though. I've gotten rid of several games because of problems with the kindle ?

  • 2 weeks later...
