OMG I walked into a Comic Con

Featured Replies

Was going for my early afternoon constitutional which takes me next to the convention center.

Low and behold vast number of strangely dressed people.

So, of course I went with the crowd.

Paid my $40 and continued my walk through various strange, disturbing, and wacky exhibits.

Serious visual stimulation and brain candy.

Talking with authors and artists at the booths with them telling me the synopsis of their creations.  Wow!  These people have imaginations.

Tons of fun but now my feet hurt.  Too much time treading on the concrete.

Bought one bauble that I couldn't resist and after looking over all the booths I went back and picked up a graphic comic that tugged on my inner geek.

Told the author I was only going to only buy one comic and after seeing what everyone had I came back for his work.

Author was blown away and signed the comic for me.

Don't let life dull you down.  When confronted with weirdness take a balrog to lunch.

Looks like fun and interesting Sirius and I can relate to walking around on concrete . Ugh! kills my feet daily.

I'm hyperventilating just looking at that crowd.... too many, too close... the kid is very excited because next year she gets to go and is already designing a costume.

  • 2 weeks later...

We have one on Saturday.. frantically doing costumes at the mo..
