April 25, 20188 yr Good on you Rusty! You are doing this. I remember my worst days were day 4 and day 5. You likely just had your worst day thankfully and can now carry on with your quit strengthened.
April 26, 20188 yr Yay you rusty! Each time you get past these hard days you get stronger and they get weaker! Well done Edited April 26, 20188 yr by jillar
April 27, 20188 yr Author Thanks guys today so far has been good and yesterday not nearly as bad as the 3rd and 4th day.You guys have been a god send.Funny that I was reading one of Joels article about becoming to reliant on one thing for help. The article was about internet sites for support he asked what happens if the site goes down or you lose internet.Guess what happened yesterday I lost internet service most of the day so bye bye support group made it ok though.I am thinking about stopping Chantix dreams are just two vivid, plus if I can make it through days like 3 and 4 as intense as those cravings were I am thinking maybe I can make it without Chantix. .
April 27, 20188 yr If you decide to make it through without internet or chantix YOU WILL. Already you're harvesting your power. Congratulations on your quit ! Hell week is over and you never have to experience another. Reward yourself.
April 27, 20188 yr No advice here about Chantix but i am kind of curious about how the dreams are different. Would you be willing to share that a bit? Maybe dream stories? With losing contact with a support group - yes that could be rough for those who use it as their "rock" to KTQ. One has to realize though that the will to quit comes from within. AND it looks like today, this day, you have made it through an entire week without smoking. It may not sound like a lot but you are no longer talking hours or days but now it is weeks. Battles will come and go but you are now armed with the knowledge that you CAN make it through.

Well there was one and I guess it was because I had been watching Survivor.I had to drink a glass of egg yolks, one glass of milk and a Mountain Dew before anyone else. Now this was just like I was standing in my kitchen type of clarity just strange.
April 28, 20188 yr Definitely worse things to have to eat or drink than egg yolks, milk and mountain dew (although mixed would be pretty rough), lol
May 9, 20188 yr @rustycolts I've been thinking about you these past few days, Rusty. Hope you are doing well!
