WOOHOO!!!! it WORKED to day!!!!!!! What breed is he?? Aww...Ted...xox I used to have a Cream Persian called Teddy, who had to stay with my friend until we got 'settled' and once we were, she wouldn't relinquish him!! Put on such a turn... God! he was SUCH a softie!! and SOO easy going..

My favourite was always Persians, but fell TOTALLY head over heals in love with Precious, who was a Birman... deaf as a post as it turned out... didn't know that when I got her.. they were going to "put her down" :o :o :o because "the other cat didn't get on with her"...!!!??? Some people shouldn't be allowed animals of ANY sort.. even worms! :D I'm considering an Exotic.. (short hair Persian) easier to maintain, as getting on now... used to "foster" for my dear friend who was a breeder/shower in her hay day.... also retired now.. so helps her cousin out with his Peeks.. It's SO lovely to know y'all!! xox

NANCY!! this is VERY interesting!!! Got my 'Vista girl' up and running yesterday, so back to Vista, (obviously) an older (but better IMO) lappy, specs fairly similar, but using FF! Cannot STAND IE but FF keeps "upsetting" Norton on the 'New 8.1' so IE it is! Having said that, the other IT forum which looks identical, quotes without a hitch!???? Sorry.... not "hijacking"... just wanted to comment...

Aww DD... he's LUBLY!!! :wub: Know what you mean about loss... Precious (she's in the pic) died last year, and I was shattered for weeks!!! As I type this my eyes are glossing.... Sudden Cat Death the vet said..... I'd never heard of it, but it's 'common' apparently... think this is what's preventing me from adopting another... Have been looking around, but not "clicked" with anyone yet...

I can't believe how much spare? time I have... and how much more RELAXED I am, for all the reasons in the above posts! No more "sneaking" is the BEST thing about it for me... since my 1st quit in 2005, hardly any of my family knew I smoked.... it was awful!!! I'll 'crave' forever though, on and off... how can I not?? it's been a HUGE part of my life, so it's not just going to vanish.... KNOWING that, makes the resolve easier!!!! MUCH easier! NOPE!!! lol :P

CPK... the darn site won't let me quote your post in my reply.... but it's SO similar to my thoughts! Starting again after a LONG quit...??? what's will that?? I still bag myself at times... and yes!! recently my Vista lappy died/got sick/crashed/froze whatever, and I've been spending HOURS with some nice chappies online various geek forums... (becoming one myself I suspect) anyway.... after ages and cross eyed, lately I've been craving like mad!! HOW STOOPID am I??? I KNOW it's not the physical... never was with me.... it's ALL mental.... THAT is what gets us back after long quits... as you posted so eloquently, "romance smoking".... isn't that the truth!??? I was a smoker the MAJORITY of my life.... 48+ out of 64 years!!! (on and off, sicknesses, pregnancies etc) It's ODD not smoking.... the annoying thing is, during my quit in 2005, I don't remember EVER craving...!!! Until that 'romantic trigger'.... It's been 2 weeks for this time, and most days I'm as happy as larry, as the saying goes... but every now and then.... :help: Lovely to 'meet' you, NayNay! :)
