Stewie... How's it going...

Featured Replies

Many issues came up for me during the first year.  Many times I would have historically reached for a smoke.

HALT...are you Hungry, Angry, Lonesome, Tired....was mind opening during that first year.

My mind and body had been completely overrun by addiction and it was mind blowing coming back to 'normal'

Don't forget to have FUN.  Next year will be smooth as glass.  Tudo Bem.

Didn't Stewie have like 6-7 months of quit on him ?

Was he struggling ?

Aye sweeties, almost 7 months. Im feeling sad and lonely and somehow i still want to smoke but im noping my way through. Thank you, you lovely persons <3

We smoked for YEARS, we shouldn't be surprised that it takes serious time to quit, to retrain our brains.

Don't beat yourself up about it, try and accept that you are still healing.

Changing thought patterns and habits takes time and intent.

Identify your triggers and start to change your focus, it isn't really about cigarettes anymore.

You have changed your life.

Everything may be weird and strange for a while still.

You are finding your new normal.

Believe me, it gets better and if you put in the time, you will know yourself in a profound way.

Youd think i would be done with it by now but no, i still want to smoke. Sometimes i feel worn out honestly.

Feeling worn out, exactly draining at times.

However it goes get better, I promise you faithfully it does. You know when you have a break up with somebody? It can feel like that sometimes (well it did to me) in that you're well rid but pine for them still.

If you are pining at all don't, just stop, just celebrate that you are no longer in the vicious cycle of putting out and lighting up. I promise you, you have my word, that they are not worth even a second thought.

Do you have plenty going on in your life to keep you interested and entertained? I found throwing myself into things helped me..filled a gap...didn't feel so isolated if that makes sense.
