I too once was a nope connoisseur you know Evelyn.... I don't want to brag but I too was rather awesome at starting a nope (cause the 'mericans are sleeping init lol). But I said go europe and the mantle must move at times :)

You have been great at starting the NOPE thread, very reliable   :)  Nobody wants to snatch your title, but have you ever heard of being King/Queen for the day?  I am Queen of the numbers game, but it wouldn't be much fun posting numbers all by myself now, would it?  Besides, a Queen needs to be pampered and get some beauty sleep from time to time  :)

I always see Evelyn and NOPE... no Murphy's Law can mess with that  :)

Evelyn, you are the queen of nope not just because you open the nope topic....

 

but because you use nope every single day, ever hour, every minute, to guard your quit

 

when newbies come on, you always greet them and say for them to use nope

 

nope is number one way to keep and protect the quit

 

and that is why you are the queen of nope

 

cuz you know the secret of the good quit is simple..............nope, nope, nope

 

you always say nope, you preach nope, you give others the gift of nope, you LIVE NOPE....

Well there's a dozen of times I got wobbly in my current quit on several reasons, a mental crsis, No Mans Lands at 3 months etc but i stuck with NOPE no discussion possible. I once practicly panicked when I realised I haden't pledged that morning and got a craving at my neighbors so I said outloud NOT ONE PUFF EVER; no discussion possible!
I believe at that point my neighbor thought i got tutu lol!!! It was earlier in my quit butnow she's seen how far I've come she just accept no fag for Evelyn. whena Saturday a week ago I got in a little crisis and she said well come down to my appartement I said ok but no matter what how f*cking cr*p I feel no cigs. And because I replied to me junkiethinking emmediatly with NOPE I sat there 3 hours while she smoked one after another and me not caring. In the end my crsis faded away.
Seems I'm getting stronger and look for help earlier! so that'sgood.

Wow, I love this story. I like the "Nope, no discussion possible." I felt a little wobbly too this week after having one beer on my birthday. Early in my quit I could have a beer and not feel wobbly, but it seems that has changed, so for now, no Guinness, boohoo, but I am dieting so it's for the best. No Guinness, No KitKats, No smoking. Nope. Nope. Nope. More stories, please, Queen Nope!
