and bought a new battery for my car.  I have been stranded 8 times in the past 6 months, three of those times in the past couple of weeks.  This last time I left my lights on for only 20 minutes.  Did I mention I just bought two new tires a few weeks ago?  I command this car not to take any more money from me for the next two months, with the exception of gas of course.

Good idea!  I've noticed that when I've drained a battery once, it never has the juice it once did.  A fresh battery will help.

Nothing worse then being stranded... Hope this new battery lasts you a long while :)

Good choice, Colleen! Batteries do not heal themselves. 

 

I remember a time when my battery died every time it rained. I had to call AAA so many times for a jump start that they threatened to terminate my membership! I didn't know they could do that!  :D I eventually found out that I had cracks in my spark plug wires that caused the battery to drain when they got damp. Not that this is your problem, but I understand how frustrating and aggravating even embarrassing repeated dead batteries can be. 

Good choice... being stranded in your neck of the woods with winter weather would be awful.

Yep I had to get a new battery for my heap of shit, €800 spent soo far and another couple of hundred tomorrow for other shite like lama sensors, urghhhhhhhhh

Eight times in six months is nuts. Did you ever think of all the poor people with no lights who wished they could leave them on? Walking around in the dark while you just waste light? Or the people who only have light part of the time. Middle of the night and gotta pee but no light cause ginger wasted it all.
