well..its forecast to be cold enough to send me to the parts store to buy a new battery for my remote car starter..

its been dead for a while, but really had no need to replace it this past summer.....

how-ever..

since the forecast is for wind chills to be below  0*F  the  next few days..I have really come to enjoy a warm car when I go out in the morning...

AND..

since I didn't get the wife's new Ford Fusion with a remote starter, it goes into the dealer for one soon :)

 

I AM looking at real estate south of me ..  :) 

I dont mind 4 seasons..I just want the warm one to be the longest  ;)

 

There is also the cost to ones older bones.  Shoveling snow ?  

Freezing Cold achy weather ?

The inevitable slip on invisible ice ?

I got offered this when I ordered my car.

 

Basically Sue, while you are having you last cup of tea before leaving, you hit the button. The car heating starts up, warming the car and melting the ice, BEFORE you step out....posh.

Ahh i see, Oooooohhhhh cool very fancy, could do with that, wouldn't be able for yis with your mad fancy cars,

I'm guessing you said yes when offered it, great idea.

My new truck has one. Automatically reads temp outside and either cools or heats it. With heat comes heated seats windows and mirrors on. Needs about 5-10 minutes to warm up so far at mid 20's outside. See what happens tomorrow and next day when we hit teens.
