My kid even has Sharknado pajamas!! These movies are/were my secret shame that noone (but my geeky fb friends) know about. 

How can you NOT LOVE this garbage?!

A friend of mine at work saw the first one - she always says how amazing it is...!  I think she is looking forward to this sequel. 

 

So, should I go ahead and watch the first one?

Yes!! 

I don't watch hardly any tv in the summer, but I have pizza and popcorn on standby for this Wed night. I will be holding my 5 month old and introducing him to a Sharknado.

I suppose there might be some truth to it.... if frogs have been sucked up by wind currents, have survived up there, and then have fallen with the rain somewhere else, still alive.... a big tornado could suck up sharks and then let them rain elsewhere, still alive.... hang on...

Update: Sharknado (part 1) is on netflix. If you are fan of gloriously bad movies it is highly recommended. 

It actually has a good review on Rotten Tomatoes.
