May 27, 201412 yr But hey... A few months back I went on holiday to Lanzarote and took a load of photos and video... I've finally got round to editing some of the video down and I thought I'd share a little walk we did. It was about 6 miles in total, which doesn't sound like much, but it was through lava fields and up 2 volcanos and back again... with a two year old! So it took quite a long time. The reason for posting this is that as a non smoker, it was really no challenge (physically) at all. OK, I'm terrified of heights and that was less fun, but worth every terrifying minute! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmmF6YGhZXQ

Its on my bucket list to visit an active volcano! An active one might be a bit toasty! Cool! Gorgeous wife and son too! XxxThank you :) 10 out of 10: Would hike that.If I'd not had my boy on my back I would have forced myself to walk the rim, but suffering vertigo AND having the most precious thing in the world on your back is not a particularly comfortable situation... But it was incredible. The terrain of black jagged rock as far as the eye could see was simply incredible. I recommend going there just to see the decimation, hire a car and drive the entire length of the place, it's tiny and there's plenty of bits to see. We covered off a lot of stuff in a week.
