February 10, 20206 yr Good evening to all! I just wanted to come back and say hi. I joined up in 2018, and had jumped in from time to time but I had lost my quit almost a month in. Nothing bad happened, I just had a trigger that I hadn’t prepared for. And that turned into another year of smoking. I’ve brushed myself off and I’m happy to report that I’ll be 2 months free on the 14th. This one feels right, it feels good. My wife quit about a month before I did and we are both going strong, holding each other accountable and being each other’s cheerleaders. Life is really good. I am so excited for this continued change. I quit drinking the same night, so that’s been an additional motivator! I’ve been back in the gym working out and replacing my prior bad habits with healthy habits. I will be in and out of this board, but don’t worry I haven’t relapsed. I am an addict, but I can feel it in my bones, this quit is the quit! Happy to be smoke free! Count me on the NOPE train today!
