September 16, 20187 yr Author OK... so i had a post for 1938 but I missed it..... so..... here is Samuel Speed (1846-1938), the last convict sent to Australia, he was sent to Australia "until he expires" for the crime of burning some hay in a field to stay warm during a frost.
