It's one of those classics that I always put off for later and never get to. What do you think about it?

I just received my book, called "Not Without My Daughter".  It was also a movie about an Iranian man who took his wife and daughter to Iran back in 1984 during the Islamic regime.  They were only supposed to go for a 2 week vacation to visit his family. Unfortunately, he turned on them, (beating her and the 4 year old daughter),  and he said they could never go back to the States.  He basically held them both hostage, locking them in the house and not letting them make phone calls!   The book has a happy ending, but I'm not going to give away the plot.   Unfortunately, many women in Iran are dealing with this! 😬

I guess it's apropos to today's situation.
