  1. The whole not worrying about being smelly in front of people is great!
  2. robf replied to Sarah's topic in Celebrations!
Nice work... You seem to be rocking your quit nicely
  3. Hope you've got excellent pants on too!
  4. What is satans accent? Sorry! I'm getting a bit paranoid about this voice thing. An active one might be a bit toasty! Thank you :) If I'd not had my boy on my back I would have forced myself to walk the rim, but suffering vertigo AND having the most precious thing in the world on your back is not a particularly comfortable situation... But it was incredible. The terrain of black jagged rock as far as the eye could see was simply incredible. I recommend going there just to see the decimation, hire a car and drive the entire length of the place, it's tiny and there's plenty of bits to see. We covered off a lot of stuff in a week.
  5. Oh... but I get your point... Makes cycling to work a right pain in the arse.
  6. Your profile says "I'm only happy when it rains"... I'm only happy when it's complicated, And though I know you can't appreciate it, I'm only happy when it rains... You know I love it when the news is bad, Why it feels so good to feel so sad, I'm only happy when it rains... etc... Pick another garbage track! What about "With your cherry lips and golden curls, you could make grown men gasp when you go walking past" !?
  7. As the Bandit says, each time it gets easier. I hope you've done what I said and thrown out all your smokes, ignition devices and ask trays. Make it easier on yourself by not having this stuff around. And yes, get busy, do something, clean, cook, learn guitar... whatever!
  8. But hey... A few months back I went on holiday to Lanzarote and took a load of photos and video... I've finally got round to editing some of the video down and I thought I'd share a little walk we did. It was about 6 miles in total, which doesn't sound like much, but it was through lava fields and up 2 volcanos and back again... with a two year old! So it took quite a long time. The reason for posting this is that as a non smoker, it was really no challenge (physically) at all. OK, I'm terrified of heights and that was less fun, but worth every terrifying minute! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmmF6YGhZXQ
  9. Nice to hear, I think it's been said before, you need to get yourself in a good place to fix yourself, not just around smoking but relationships too (be it friends or lovers). Once you're good and stable everything is easier. It sounds like if you're not already there you're definitely on the right path. Keep up the good work! Your profile still says "I'm only happy when it rains", which although an excellent track, might not be quite right anymore? Is it due for an update?
  10. You just have to make sure they don't look scary before you say something like that! But you do get a wonderful look of deflation on their face!
  11. I've had that before and sometimes added, "You do know smoking isn't very good for you?!"
  12. Yeah, good isn't it!

    Excellent work!
  14. Interesting that it makes the tobacco body fatter when nicotine is an appetite represent and actually helps you lose weight... And the man's no smoking penis is huge by comparison to his smoking one, now I can you that my woody is much improved, "on the soft" however, there is little difference. But I get the point... I just tend to baulk against scare tactics, the truth about smoking is scary enough, doing boogie monsters on the top of it is utterly pointless and weakens the argument.

Droid. iOS needs widgets and customisation badly. Tea and biscuits... Dunk or Don't Dunk biscuits?

I appreciate I'm about to sound like a pervert... but.. Summer = women in short skirts!
  17. The reason is really very simply. You relapse is because you put a cigarette in your mouth and smoke it. Once again... Where are you getting the cigarettes, lighter, etc from? Throw all that sh1t away. You don't need it. Learn guitar (if your disability doesn't prevent it), or indeed any musical instrument. I write all my music on an app on my phone called Caustic, buy it, it's awesome. But don't smoke, it's really very simple.

Nice work... But... as I've mentioned before (and as you've alluded to)... Don't get complacent about your quit... Triggers come and bite your arse all the time.
