Not the season....too commercial...Thanksgiving is overshadowed by Black Friday, and Christmas is overshadowed by...welllll...Black Friday!.. Baaa... Humbug!! Lol ... I do however LOVE having my girls home! The NP is a "glass 1/2 full" person....(as opposed to 1/2 empty)

Thanks everyone! There are no words to really describe the gratitude I have for this forum, and the list of people I have to thank for my quit success is too long to even attempt for fear of leaving someone out. All I can offer in th way of advice for any newbie, is to stick with it! It is NEVER easy in the beginning...anyone who says it is is full of *%+{{ they came to a quit smoking forum for support in their quit, so it obviously is a struggl early on...I WILL say,my hat looking back, it wasn't near as bad as I had envisioned it to be when I made to decision to quit.... Just keep moving through the bad times, and the good time start to outweigh them real,fast.... again, Thanks everyone..everyone here is GREAT!

Blackjack!

After we booked Marco Island for a January vacation, my sister-in-law called and wanted to know if we wanted to go on a New England/Canada cruise...normally a cruise isn't too high on my list of things to do, EXCEPT if it would be an Alaskan cruise...well, this isn't an Alaskan cruise, but similar in that it will have some awesome scenery and there will be interesting stops along the way... We leave New York on Sept. 23rd and have stops in Portland Maine, Bar Harbor Maine, Saint Johns, Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick and Halifax Nova Scotia.then return back to NY on the 30th. ...we will have an opportunity to do some whale watching...we are thinking of booking something in Halifax..the whale watching tours have great reviews.... It's quite a ways out yet, but Sherrie is super excited!!! im pretty sure we may have to skip the OBX this year...I haven't completely given up on it, but don't know if Sherie can get that much time off...
