  1. Thanks so much, everyone!! I’m just now seeing this! I’m feeling great & loving being a non smoker. I appreciate everyone’s support so much! 1 month down, forever to go
  2. Hey guys, I’m Kenzie & this is my second time quitting and returning to this site. I’m 27, and started smoking when I was 14. I’m from Texas! I quit smoking again 12/12/2021. I log in here everyday and kind of creep around when I’m feeling like I want to smoke, and it really does help! Plus it’s comforting to know I could SOS and have so many awesome people to help.
  3. Cravings were tough today, but instead of smoking I rewarded myself with this big badass bowl of Greek yogurt. what did you do instead of smoking today?
  4. Thanks everyone! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a blessed new year!
  5. and probably about 10 pounds heavier.
  6. It’s been almost 5 years since I’ve been on here. I was quit until a year ago & now I’m ready to try again. this is day 3 smoke free which hasn’t been bad because I’ve been too sick to smoke, but now that I’m feeling better, the cravings are kicking in. Anyway, I’m determined to kick it this time!
  7. Thanks guys. I haven’t smoked again since that. It is hard because all of my friends smoke and my husband smokes. But I felt sick after smoking and honestly haven’t felt like it again.
  8. I’ve only quit again for about 2 weeks. I threw away a year quit before that and this was my second attempt.
  9. Really didn’t even want to post this because I feel embarrassed and ashamed
  10. Ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh. I smoked 2 cigarettes today. Down on myself, and feel shitty again already.
  11. I’m slowly but surely trying to get through all the articles on this site. My mistake last time was that I strayed away from here and didn’t have all the facts... I’m determined this time, but know I’m still in the beginning stages of quitting and am still weak ?
  12. Thank you Sazerac!! Seriously, I am so grateful you were on the board tonight and were able to offer me advice! I haven’t watched the video yet but seriously love “h.a.l.t”. So true, I’m drinking my ice water now and feeling much better
  13. Thanks for the reply. My jaw hurts from chewing gum, but I’m so glad I didn’t smoke! It’s been 5 days and I feel like I’m in a constant state of anxiety ? I just hope the feeling of something’s “missing “ subsides because it’s really stressing me out
  14. Everyone was smoking and vaping around me but I didn’t give in. But how do I get over how irritable and anxious I feel even after everyone is gone ?
  15. Congrats! What an inspiration to keep going, a year is amazing!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
