I don't know what to make of this, but I still have a pack of these in my car, in the console slot where my actual cigarettes used to go.
They used to be called "candy cigarettes" and had red sugar "embers" on one end, but not anymore. I actually used them once or twice early in my quit in tense traffic situations or long drives where I'd been conditioned to smoke, and it worked for me. They're literally the worst possible "candy" - mostly corn starch and a little sugar, like a hard marshmallow, but at least they don't leave you craving more.
I'm probably doing something wrong by not hating them, and I apologize if anyone's triggered. But I'm "smoking" one right now, and I can't even remember what it was like to want a real one, and that's weirdly empowering.
