  3. I have quit smoking using this method. It's the best thing for me. I have tried many different times and many other ways. I have smoked cigarettes for 40 years. On May 6 2014 I quit smoking and started using an e cig. I started with 24mg nicotine and am now down to 6mg! I will go down to zero in a couple weeks. When I get to zero, I won't have any nicotine. Yes, I have quit smoking, I'm not getting all the chemicals and poisions, I don't set tobacco on fire and inhale it, I smell better, my hair now smells like shampoo not smoke, I'm not spending $80 a week by smoking almost 2 packs a day. Smoking is smoking and nicotine does not equal smoking; it equals nicotine! Quoted from someone else, and I believe it says it all.
