Oh my gosh am I loving my sweets

I'm doing good with my smoking quit but I have awakened my sweet taste buds.  I keep reading but it's not registering yet.  At least yesterday when I took my walk I got lost in my neighborhood...which is a good thing.  I think today I will get lost in cleaning the house.  My grandson will be here tomorrow so I won't have time to think about a cigarette.  I can't think about eating carrots or celery at this point.  But I did by some low calorie meals.  I know if I don't eat a decent meal I will finish up with my favorites like chocolate.  I keep asking my higher power for help but he hasn't answered yet  :)

Do whatever gets you through ricki your quit is the priority, the rest can be addressed at a later date, that's why we have an active fitness and eating forum most of us stuffed our faces in the beginning the art is learning when to say ok enough now :)

Compensating with low calorie meals is a good balance to those treats, your sugar levels will be out of balance for a while not withstanding the old mouth habit

You are doing great so I do think your higher power is with you :)

Have a great day with your grandson x

agree...do what needs to be done!!

I started obsessing with chocolate tootsie pops...kept my and hands occupied and it was chocolate...  Seemed to satisfy my chocolate craving.

Enjoy them...they taste so much better than cigs. BTW Welcome :)

One word Ricki MINSTRELS Chocolate eat them by the bucket load, lol, eat and enjoy your new sense of taste xx

I agree - do what you need to keep that quit ... Personally I established licorice as a whole new food group ... But chocolate was good too a0d0423989cfe63dbac86525c36d6b54_zpsff34
