My step- plan

Featured Replies

I am now on the lowest step patch nicotine step 3. I'll keep it this way till Easter weekend Saterday 19th then I take it off. WHY THEN? Because everytime I go without nicotine I freak out and in that weekend from Saterday till Monday a vry close friend is with me. I will be distracted from the 'oh, no patch HELP I need to smoke'- to my friends company. Of course I'll post here too but by Monday most withdrawls will be over so it's easier and the chance I won't relapse is bigger. Call it a safety net.

She a very close friend who I can talk about anything with. Well almost everything she knows my parts and she too has DID. So if any of my parts start freaking out, I can either tell her, call my surrogate mom AND ring and SOS here!

Good plan huh?

BTW this patch 3 gives limited withdrawls atm. A little, It put it on last evening (10:15 AM here now)

that sounds like a great plan evelyn and I am really pleased you are going to be doing it sooner rather than later - well done :)

Good plan Evelyn, like you said your friend will be around for comfort or distraction....if you need either.

Sounds like you've covered all bases...great job.

I am glad you found something that is working for you Evelyn. Enjoy your visit :)
