Hello. My name is Barb, and I'm a nicotine addict

well I figured this was a good place to post here......At this time, I am just 4 months shy of my 3 year nosmo anniversary.  I would say for the past 6 years I've been on a spiritual journey...which ultimately lead me to quit smoking..and then finishing up that transformation by eating healthy and exercise regularly.

If you are still smoking....it is CRUCIAL that you concentrate on quitting smoking FIRST.  For some reason...we focus so much more on what's on the outside.  My weight loss is so much more than that.  How I look on the outside is just a reflection of how I feel on the inside and it NEVER would have been possible had I not quit smoking first.  Quitting smoking is what gave me the confidence to keep going.  Quitting smoking is what helped clear my lungs and slow my pulse rate so that when I did exercise..I didn't feel like I was dying.  Quitting smoking taught me a lot about committment to myself...and patience.  Patience...patience...patience.

These pictures are amazing. The change in your hips and legs is amazing. Did you do this with running as your main

exercise? These pictures are awesome! I knew your name from fb, but can I still call you Babs (name of my fav Aunt from Philly RIP) --Anyway,

all around on smoke free and body cool WELL DONE YOU!

Wow! Today I was thinking about you as I have gained a ton and really I am having trouble closing my mouth. Plus it seems like when I do diet and exercise after I quit smoking the scales do not move. Nonsmoking? Menopause? More food? Any way I know you had gained weight after you quit but you decided to lose it and get fit. You have done a great job! So I think i can use you like a model? Any tips?

Oh, I think you should post tons of photos. Aren't you gonna post

after the ABS challenge? I think all the participants in that should

post...

Looking good there girl ... Really good :-)

Your motivation and positive energy is truly inspiring babs. I've secretly been doing the abs challenge. Want to feel Day#30.

Just don't lose TOO much so we can't see you in the photos. ;)
