Welcome on board the Quit Train @ASHISH JOSHI ! Glad to hear you have made a wise decision to take back your life and put smoking behind you. It's not easy but it IS possible. Be determined and keep yourself busy. Keeping your mind busy helps keep it off smoking. Stick around on the train and get support from others who are quitting or who have already quit. They understand what you are going through🙂

Welcome @ASHISH JOSHI! Quitting may be tough at first, but it will ultimately be a true gift. In addition to the health benefits of quitting you’ll feel so justifiably proud of your achievement.

Stay strong, stay busy, and learn all you can about addiction. It will help you fight to protect you quit when temptations arise.

You can do this!

Welcome @ASHISH JOSHI !

Very good decision to break the chain of smoking. Read as much as possible about addiction. There are also very informative videos.

Stay strong and determined. The beginning is tough but you soon will notice improvements such as better breathing and more money in the pocket.

Welcome @ASHISH JOSHI 😊 I'm glad you've made the decision to break free from smoking and that you've found this forum which will definitely help you! Yes it will be tough in the beginning but check in here as much as you can and read the very informative threads and watch the videos to learn about addiction.

I'd recommend you pledge NOPE on the daily thread to keep you on track and if you ever need help there will always be someone around to advise you or distract you from a craving! 😊

@SD2026 Where is the daily thread? Where do I meet people that can help me through a craving in real time.

@snowghost There is a daily Nope thread for people who have quit and are pledging not to smoke for that day. Go on the main board and find it. We can give you support, but please let us know how you plan to quit, if you quit, etc. As far as "Real time", do you mean like up to the minute posts? I don't know if we have that where it's totally live, but since we are a group of members from all over the world, there is usually someone around most of the time. There is also a ton of reading material and videos, why don't you check it all out. Have a look around. There is lots of information. Take your time and look through all the material.

ooh, I'm confused and getting frustrated. Typing with left hand, broke right arm,

@QuittingGirl I still haven't found posts from 2026=real time I thought there was a chat room. What is the main board called? I found some video links.
