**Knowledge vs. (will)Power – A Tale as Old as the World.**

If "smoking kills" is a scientific fact and printed on every pack, why are tobacco products still in demand? There are no instruction labels on cigarette packs, yet we consume them. Who influences you to smoke? What power sustains this toxic cycle?

The willpower method is more of a "heart" approach: we sacrifice what we love for what we love more—career, health, family, etc. You don’t need a high IQ to remind yourself what truly matters to your heart.

(Think of how muscles grow: through damage and repair cycles.)

Is the willpower method—the "sacrifice and suffer" approach—the only way to resist temptation?

The answer to IQ vs. BMI (Body Mass Index) is EQ (wisdom).

**What if nicotine could talk?**

What would it say? Are they truly our enemy, or are they misunderstood victims caught in the crossfire?

Are they building a mighty fortress inside our bodies, or are they trapped in a forced labor camp, waiting to escape?

Discover the power behind the nicotine slavery , will you judge them once you know the truth?

The story is presented as a story-driven, short(from 10 to 20 mins) game designed to help smokers quit—without relying on willpower. Instead, it encourages open-mindedness, empathy, and patience. Everything you need to know to quit smoking (or grow out of it, much like a baby grows out of needing their mother’s milk) is already within you. Here’s an analogy:

**Imagine a giant jigsaw puzzle representing your self-confidence.** When you became a nicotine slave, the light went out, and the puzzle shattered into pieces. But the pieces are still there—you just need patience and guidance (whether from someone, a story, or both) to put it back together.

-------------

**The game has three stages:**

1) Preparation – A quick intro with three "boring" facts and an introduction to the nicotine monster(s).

2) Behind the Curtain – A deeper look at the hidden tricks and struggles of quitting.

3) The Maze – A timed mini-game where you race to freedom. Be the fastest to escape!

The game has all the elements of a great story (^_^) — fresh perspectives, life-changing insights, unexpected twists, and characters who evoke empathy in smokers and leave a lasting impact.

(Im not a game developer so go easy with technical issues)

**My Nicotine Story:**

My name is Misha. My great-grandfather smoked (RIP), my grandfather smoked (RIP), and my father smoked (credit to me). Personally, I smoked for over a decade, then quit for years. I'm here to share a creative solution for struggling smokers through a **free web-based game (no downloads or sign-ins required).**

**Thanks for your attention**, and may your journey to freedom from nicotine be joyful and exciting!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
