SWITCHEROO..... SWITCHEROO..... Reasons we should have a public holiday (long weekend).....

 

R.... Roo Day - they are on our coat of arms, they taste frickin delicious, they box, the jump, they push tourists into dams and make us laugh... we should have a Roo Day to celebrate our unique marsupial.... maybe we could celebrate by having a barbie and chucking some kanga bangas on and some bush blend marinated roo skewers.

Summer, cos most of ours are in winter and spring. 

^^^ Isn't it unfortunate you were up for S... cos we could have had Sslip Day... for giving us SLOX!

 

Tinsel Day.... because it takes a day to clean all its shedding from around the house after you take down the tree.... we deserve a day of in recover.

^^^ I couldn't blow my own trumpet. 

 

Umbrella day. Unfortunately it would have to be a Monday in April and I'm really after a couple of summer Bank Holidays. 

^^^ you could have umbrella day in summer as part of a sun smart campagin... umbrellas are portable sunshades..... your welcome.
