About Me

Hello my name is Shy. I don't really know what to say about myself here. I actually visited this site way back in 2014 when I first took quitting seriously but was too nervous to sign up. I had just started vaping. I have had one good quit attempt last year it was for 5 months on the gum. Then do to an altercation with family I went back. This time is going to be different though. I have a completely different mindset and I have been looking into spiritual guidance more like about negative and positive energy. It seems to be helping a lot! I have a mental illness but it's not as bad as when I found out. Honestly some of the phychosis images signs and interpretations are quite beautiful. Although it can also be very scary at times. I have had 8 years though to learn some coping skills and learn how it presents itself to me. Uh let's see.... I have a fur baby I have had for 16 years she is my dog Hershey. She is a sweet old girl. I'm a Southern girl even though I was born in the North. Uh yeah don't really know what else to say here but thank you all for the kind support can't wait to take this journey with you all 😊

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
