  7. I understand your frustration. However, just keep telling yourself it is easier and less painful to lose fat cells than cancer cells!

    -10, glad you are back!!
  16. The reason I got my final quit is because I finally realized that there is no such thing as just one....I am absolutely one puff away from a pack a day. Also, when I finally understood that the only thing having a smoke does is relieve the withdrawal symptoms for 30 to 45 minutes...and if I were to smoke one, those withdrawal symptoms would be right back!

  24. Welcome to the board, Beata, and congratulations on your decision to quit! I recommend doing lots of reading, here. Great information to help you with your quit. If you have not read Alllen Carr's EasyWay to Stop Smoking, it is a book that helped many of us quit for good.

    -5 Hi!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
