April 12, 201412 yr I am not sure if you posted today, haven't seen my glasses in a while so I might have overlooked a post (not to myself..buy glasses to find the glasses) How are you guys doing?
April 13, 201412 yr My first weekend I was nervous, but just like everything about quitting, turned out I imagined it worse that it was. Posting helps, smokers and never smokers just don't seem to understand quite the same. We all had a first week :)
April 13, 201412 yr Yes, it would be good to hear an update! Weekends can be pretty tough. Usually during the week, we are generally more distracted with other stuff. Hope all is well guys!
April 13, 201412 yr Good Sunday Morning- I do my NOPE pledge everyday- didn't need to be online all day was very busy with chores even got to give the dog a bath. Anyway I have to say this is easier than I ever thought it could be- I am sure that everyone knows the saying don't make a mountain out of a molehill...Well in the past I think that is what I did in my prior attempts to quit. It is really not that hard it is a clear choice that I do not smoke. TODAY IS DAY 5 FOR ME I am very happy- yesterday only 4 pieces of gum throughout the day. Thank you everyone for checking all is well. I hope you all are doing great as well. :)
April 13, 201412 yr Awesome Amy! So glad to hear things are going well. :) You know, I did have some rough days with my quit, but it was nothing like I expected. Much easier than I thought. Some people struggle, but for others, it's easier. I think it all depends on you as a person. You definitely have the right attitude to stay quit and that's how you ultimately succeed. It's all about attitude and commitment; the desire to not smoke more than to smoke. Sending a virtual high 5 you way! You are doing brilliantly.
