February 13, 201511 yr Author That's too funny. :) I went to outer banks for many years and never picked up on that but then again...when I'm in the beach area I say "I'm going to the beach' but if I'm home and I am talking about driving.....I'm "going doiwn the shore". I'm going to Florida in April and I will be at the beach. :)
