October 30, 201411 yr Dead serious. It is kept at 78 Georgia Power is horrible and we have no other choices but to use them. It is unreal.
November 1, 201411 yr Ends this week! For those that observe the clocks go back 2AM this Sunday November 2nd. Daylight Saving Time (DST) is a way of making better use of the natural daylight by setting your clock forward one hour during the summer months, and back again in the fall. Spring forward – Fall back©thinkstockphotos.comDST worldwide 2014 | DST 2015 | DST 2016Clocks back or forward? To remember which way to set your watch, keep in mind“spring forward, fall back”. You set your clock forward in the spring when DST starts (= lose one hour), and back one hour when DST ends in the fall (= regain one hour) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You know, there is much confusion about setting time forward or backwards (as if). I could just as easily fall forward and spring back as fall back and spring forward. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Love from The QuitTardis, Sazerac 2014 Sweet dreams tonight, y'all, in all our time zones.
November 4, 201411 yr DD, That is horrible. Mine got up to $250 in August, but that included a pool pump. Guess SCE&G isn't as bad as I thought Mind you, just me in the house most of the time and I turn it up when at work as Poppy likes it warm (hey, she didn't object)
November 4, 201411 yr I hate Daylight Savings Time. Spring or Summer, it throws everything all off. I say we switch in the Spring 2015 for more daylight, then leave it be for the next 100 years at least.
November 5, 201411 yr That is crazy DD - do you have an electronic thermostat - are you home all day?
