Friends Across The Pond

I know it's gonna be bad and I hope everyone in the path will be ok!! The West coast and Central part of FL are in it's direct path.  I experienced a Cat 3 hurricane with Hurricane Sandy 12 years ago and I was petrified.  We were so lucky as we didn't lose power or get flooded that day but most of my neighborhood did.  There wasn't much rain but the storm surge and wind was so bad.  This hurricane is a Cat 4 I believe! 😲 I have a friend who lives south of the Tampa Bay area and she has a generator and a cooler that can keep food cold for a week.  I'm hoping she will be ok!

In North Carolina, I'v experienced a number of tropical storms and hurricanes.  Helene was one of the worst and I was quite a long distance from the center of the storm and it was bad.  No damage for me at my place but I was lucky, the damage all across North Carolina and points west and south were horrible.

Hurricane Milton which is about to hit Florida sounds just as bad, maybe worse.  Lots of low lying areas surrounded by water and very easily innudated by flooding rains and storm surge  Hoping for everyone down there to stay safe.

This does look bad.

I am holding my friends to the south in my thoughts and prayers..... hoping for the best.
