in talking to my friend this morning, I realized I needed this reminder today  :)

“The more we trust life, the less we need to know the future. What will happen in the future? Exactly what needs to happen. Do we have to know what that is ahead of time if life is unfolding as it needs to? No. We only want to know what’s going to happen because we don’t trust life and we’re afraid life won’t go the way we want it to go. “Will I get what I want?” That’s the question the ego most wants answered. The ego’s desires cause so much suffering. It can’t just relax and enjoy the ride. What if you weren’t attached to life turning out a certain way? What if you trusted that life is always bringing you exactly the experience you need? That would be called happiness and peace, wouldn’t it?”

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
