Apparently this is what I get as a student. I don't understand $3000 for prescription drugs and $500 for dental... you'd think it would be the other way around.

PRESCRIPTION DRUGS

$3,000 maximum

Coverage Details:
80% coverage

DENTAL

$500 Maximum

Basic & Preventative: 100%
Minor and Restorative: 75% (100% at Network Dentist)
Extractions and Oral Surgery: 75% (100% at Network Dentist)(limited to 2 wisdom teeth)
Major Restorative: 10% (35% at Network Dentist)

A string and a door handle?

It's always done thing eh! :(

I'm broke too and work 24-7, feel your pain. Vent away

Some nights when the pain is so bad, I actually contemplate ways to remove my tooth... door handle and string, alcohol and pliers.

Toothaches suck.

I don't have a job because I quit mine after my mom died... kind of regretting that now because I had amazing coverage there. It was like 90% coverage for $5000 or something.

Everyone was right though. Steve came home and was pretty "meh" about it. He gave me really good food and fed me alcohol. Told me we'd figure it out, but he thinks I need another opinion as well. He's used these guys for his teeth before and hates them. He says they try to make you pay for a lot of unnecessary things.

This is why Dentists have us over a barrell-almost like the cig & drug companies. You need nice teeth to do just about everything so of course you either pay or end up toothless. Sorry this is happening to you.

Thanks Beth.

It's bullshit. They are thieves.

I should have been a dentist.

That's what Steve and I were saying last night.

It would definitely pay better than we're making.
