Hello, we are a group of researchers from the University of Michigan studying cravings and addiction. It would be greatly appreciated if you could fill out the survey below to further our study “Study of Substance Cravings versus Ordinary Urges.” Participation is voluntary and you may quit at any time. The data collected is anonymous. Thank you so much for your time and participation. (IRB: HUM00064482)

I looked at the survey and it does seem to be legit @Kate18 If you choose to take it you can answer as many or as few questions as you'd like concerning your smoking habits. It's long and looks to be comparing smoking craves and food craves as there are some questions about that as well.

We are not endorsing it. Only allowing it as it pertains to quitting smoking.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
