  1. 5 months now... Still smoke free, just not 'here' as much anymore.
  2. I'm calling shenanigans! Pots can't talk.
  3. December 30th a late Christmas present to myself
  4. Yup, just decided no more. No planning, no prep, no smoking.
  5. So there I am getting off the bus at the airport in Costa Rica when the guide says "any smokers who need to smoke will have to cross the road, and smoke there under the tree". The bus was air conditioned, outside it was 40 Celsius (Africa hot!). They did it.. In the dry season dust and heat they huddled under a tree and had a sweaty smoke. That is clearly not something they were doing for enjoyment. Anyhow, Costa Rica is amazing - and I didn't even think about smoking... Even all beered up!
  6. I'm actually looking forward to diving now that I've quit. My dive computer tracks air consumption, I'm hoping it shows me exactly what I'm feeling.
  7. So tomorrow I fly to Costa Rica for a week. I plan to spend my days hiking and scuba diving - and doing it all smoke free. I'm traveling with non smokers, so I figure I won't have any "opportunities" for that blasted peer pressure to sneak up on me. The good news is that I really haven't had any desire at all to smoke since my quit - and a change of scenery for a week shouldn't make any difference. I have every intention to have some food in my belly, sun on my skin, a few pictures, and another week smoke free upon my return. G
  8. Hey LB... I made it too.
