Sarge, Saw This And Thought Of You.

Featured Replies

This came up on my FB feed, it made me chuckle because I thought of you. Barney wise of course...as I don't know your drinking tendencies.

The one thing Sarge never gave up was his alcohol

He gave up fast food, and junk food, and soda, and coffee (although he jumped off the wagon on that one)... he gave up being a couch sloth, quit a high stress job, and quit farking smoking ... but the one thing he never thought of giving up was his alcohol.

Sarge's Cider from The Orchard is his Elixir of Life. The Wines from the yard (from Blackberry, to Strawberry, to Elderberry - you name it (Gooseberry Wine, anyone? There a 5-gallon batch from last summer's harvest) fill hundreds of gallons of bottles in the basement...

The Moonshine Still runs at least once a year...

I *DO* love booze <== (Rare first person Sarge Sighting)

Then I'm glad I posted ;)

I went off booze, well more a case of total avoidance as that leads me to make stupid decisions and smoke. Back on it after a two year break and quite enjoying it myself.

I saw a bottle of Moonshine in my local supermarket, never heard of that before, your post has reminded me. Will have to make a purchase and try for myself.

That was funny  :P

LMAO - literally LOL'd when I saw the pic.

Alcohol is a tough one.  It's really addictive and overall not healthy if someone indulges more often then they should, but so hard to stop because of it's social acceptance for one thing, addictive and habitual nature for another, and denial of addiction for a third.

Smoking is so "BAD,"  but drinking is celebrated and encouraged.

Bottom's Up!!! :)
