Wednesday at 11:13 PM2 days I am 93 days nicotine/smoke free..Smoked for 45 years. Although proud of myself, I am struggling to handle the mental issues that literally started when I quit. Fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, depression, extreme emotional swings and insomnia is wearing me out. I quit cold turkey, but 11 days ago went to a doctor and got put on wellbutrin and buspar. Anyone one else?????

Nothing was pleasurable unless you had a cig with it.Now it’s time to be good to yourself. Rediscover the simple pleasures like a brisk walk. A long shower. A long talk with an old friend. A movie and being able to sit right through without a needing a cigarette break. Now you’re in the drivers seat not the nicotine…. Takes a bit of adjustment
12 hours ago12 hr Hey there - welcome and congrats on your 93 days.OMG the brainfog was the worst! It was like my entire IQ dribbled out the bottom of my shoes for a while. And my satisfaction/gratification receptors were were totally scorched after my own 45-year smoking career… everything felt flat. But have faith and carry on - things settle down after a while.
