  1. This is not a New Year's resolution. I quit 6 days ago, the day after Christmas. Call me a rebel. I'm taking Chantix. It helps. I still get cravings, but they are manageable. Mostly I feel like I'm forgetting something and it nags at me. Maybe I am forgetting something. Wait. What was I saying? I love the vivid dreams. Not scary, but like watching bizarre television shows starring myself and people I know. Last night I dreamt my two sons and I were meeting for breakfast. They were acting strange and wearing weird hats. I asked them what was wrong and they told me they had done a diner dash the week before and they were worried they'd be recognized. I was angry. There are hundreds of restaurants on the Las Vegas strip we could have met, (yes, inexplicably, we were in Las Vegas). I left in a huff and hurried back to my hotel. When I called them from the hotel, my oldest son was being hassled by the police on the street for playing a trumpet. (No, he doesn't play trumpet). It was at this point that I woke up.
