Not sure how I lasted five months so far.

I wasn't really even expecting to last ONE month at first.

Wasn't until three months that hard craves hit. That passed within a few days.

I guess the way i hung onto "quit" was honestly - I am too much a cheapskate to buy smokes and too lazy to roll my own like i did the last two years of smoking.

Am I the only ex-smoker in the world who KTQ because of being too cheap and lazy to feed the habit?

I mean there are other silly things like not wanting to suffocate and die in cigarette smoke but the important part - cheap and lazy.

Yeah that nicotine rush felt awesome back then but otherwise being a smoker just sucked.

I can honestly say I have not had so much as a puff since Oct 6th.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
