I did an edit and its vanished... but this is a show from when I was a kid..... Round the Twist ... a serious about an odd family who lived in a magical lighthouse. Each episode was its own wacky story.... with stories like the episode when it was the school swimming comp and a magical fish swam into the end of the boys penis, its tail hung out then end and spun around like a propeller as a result he won all the races. So now, knowing what I watched as a kid you can understand that there was never any chance of me being normal....

Distraction - This show demonstrated just how desperate some people were to appear on TV

The UK version is more brutal than the US. It will cause you to wince! At the end of the show if it was a cash prize they put the winnings in a toaster and burnt it until the contestant managed to answer a series of questions. In the example below it's a car and she got off really "lightly".

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
