Watching an LMN movie and the girl is singing 'Rockabye Baby' to her unborn child and realizing just how frucked up that song is.

The baby falls out of a tree, cradle and all!

Imagine trying to pitch Hansel and Gretel as a children's movie today.

Yeah, so, there's these two kids, brother and sister.  Their parents collude to abandon them in the woods.  Out in the woods they are kidnapped by a witch.  The witch tries to fatten them up before throwing them in the oven...did I mention that the witch is also a cannibal?

You would be escorted out of the building by security.

Getting ready to go on a hike with two old friends. Haven't seen them in quite awhile...lots to catch up on! The weather is gorgeous today....sunny and 65 degrees. Going to a nature preserve in Stony Brook, NY which is on the North shore of Long Island...known as Avalon Park. Hope to do at least 3 miles today! https://avalonnaturepreserve.org/

Just got done changing the litter box for the first time since I got sick in January, a huge step for me because it's one more thing I don't have to ask my husband to do anymore :) Hashtag-winning!!!

I am packing for my drive down to Ocean City, Maryland tomorrow! Staying at a place right on the beach for a few days and have no plans other than to explore the boardwalk there and visit Assateague Island (known for its wild ponies). This has been in the back of my mind since I read the book "Misty of Chincoteague" by Marguerite Henry when I was about 8 yrs old...someday I will go to that place! That day has arrived!

If you were wondering....yes, I am meeting up with my BF and we will stay at a nice hotel right on the beach! It's a 5 hour drive for me, a 10 hour drive for him!! Hmmm...are things ratcheting up between us? Stay tuned......😉

Wait no more, @jillar! Here is the update....The trip to OC, Maryland was really wonderful. Perfect weather, perfect boyfriend, perfect time to go, perfect hotel. Boardwalk was easy to navigate as the summer crowd was gone! Every one we encountered or where ever we went, the Covid rules were being followed. Assateague Island National Park was perfect! Great scenery and beaches there. We saw at least 10 ponies wandering around...so got to cross that off my bucket list. We might go back again next year with his camper.

My house is on the market and the open house is next Sunday...I have been working hard to get it all spruced up (I haven't really been able to do much in the past 3 years due to health issues but I am making up for it now ($$$). I have some great friends that are willing to pitch in and help me sort through all my stuff...I have been donating to Big Brother, Big Sister of Long Island. Good God, why do I never throw anything away????? Guess I really am a pack-rat!

I will be moving to the Blue Ridge mountain area of western North Carolina where the BF lives, after my house sells. BF is so excited about this! This guy is just about the best thing to ever happen to me. He was there for me when I was going through my divorce 11 years ago (how I vented to him about that...for months🥵) He and his late wife were there for me when I had the stroke 3.5 years ago. They were both there for me when I had the CABGx3 surgery 2.5 years ago. I was there for him when his wife was dying 1.5 years ago of lung cancer that had spread to the brain.

Never in a million years would I have thought this would be happening when I hired him 13 years ago...our story is very unique, that is for sure!  🥰

Oh @Rozuki, I'm really happy for you both! The trip sounds awesome and that's so cool you got to not only cross it off your bucket list but also share it with someone you love.

I'm wishing for a quick sale for you so you can start your new adventure sooner rather than later 😊

And he is a camper!  Of course he is a great guy.  How exciting Rozuki.  So happy for you.  We could meet up on our camping travels and celebrate our smoke free lives!
