True... well sorta I fund it... but the kid makes me drive her to the cop shop on chrissy day with boxes of choccies and tins of shortbreads... to say thank you for keeping her and her family safe for the year... we have been doing it every year since she was nearly 3 and they helped her find her teddy bear after some fireworks.. altough because her teddy bear was called Grandad Michael they originally thought they were looking for her grandad. We get the good ones, not just roses.

TNP will be giving someone alcohol for chrissy this year.

Nope... in our house Santa gets a cupa and timtams.... have the coffee (cos santa drinks coffee) all premade just how he likes it in a little thermos and that way he can get an energy boost to continue his journey... and he can slam a timtam.  (Yes even though we know about Santa.. she is still holding to the traditions this year.)

TNP feels like this christmas is 'less' than normal

True...well I whistle better than I sing... I can hold a tune... in key at that... whistling, not singing... but I can't do those New York Taxi whistles....

Oh an no a mince pie has no meat in the mince... it is micture of spices, alcohol and dried fruits chopped up.... I don't like them... they are a British tradition my lot could have left over there.

TNP... can curl their tongue...

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
