Hello Octain:

Jack joined up and last participated before I ever joined the group so I don't have any knowledge of where he is or his quitting status. From what I see though of his most recent posting history, he stops by every month on his quitting anniversary near the of the month--meaning if he follows his typical pattern he will post in a couple of weeks. The reason I am bringing this up here is that unless he has notifications set up for responses to his posts, he may not see this message for close to two weeks. I fear when a person puts up a post like this and doesn't get a response other people may assume that the person has relapsed. This often is not the case.

Hi All

Just to clarify. We all use this site as a tool in our quits and it is as equally important to me now as it was when I signed up 6 months ago. I use the site in my way and my monthly post is a good target for me. I have admiration for everyone that gives time and effort to help others but I’m sorry that is just not me. So anyway ....half a year !!! X

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
