Thank you all for the shout-out. Appreciate it  :)

Wow, this first month has seemed like a year at times. Not something I want  to have to ever repeat, that's for sure

I must now be very careful to remember all the bad stuff about smoking and quitting. Those memories tend to fade from memory rather quickly. I'm still reading & watching a lot of stop smoking stuff to keep everything fresh in my mind. Finally just really starting to understand the whole addiction thing, feeding the addiction, and the complete brainwashing process we go through that makes makes us think all these positive thoughts about smoking when the complete opposite is really the case. The more I really understand and believe in that, the easier turning my back on smoking is becoming.

You guys (and gals) are a big component of what I've been able to achieve as well so, thank you all. I know it's up to me alone in the end to get this done and make it permanent but I'm not sure I would have been able to get over the really bad part without your support - thanks to ALL

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
