:D  :D  :D  :D  :D   Thanks!!  Let me just say month 6 was FABULOUS (other than those few moments of smelling  phantom smoke that wasn't there ).   I am so grateful to have found this place and to have had your support.  And yes, helping others helps ourselves...it's how it works.

Here's a  diddy to share... When I was a smoker, I lived with the constant fear that at any moment I could  have a heart attack.  Seriously, it was always in the back of my mind.  WELL, it dawned on me two days ago that I have not had those thoughts in a LONG time.  It was a great moment when I realized the fear had vanished AND that I'd not even noticed.  What a beautiful gift.  And to think it's how normal people live, ha.

I may have been able to quit without you all, but it wouldn't have been as manageable.  No jail time, no bondsmen involved, very cool <snort>.

I so appreciate you all, thank you!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
