I quit smoking. I was a nicotine addict.

I was afraid of health consequences from smoking.

I was afraid of smoking related diseases.

There were many choices to be made. Cold turkey, NRT, Champix/Chantix, Wellbutrin/Zyban,

I decided with my doctor the best way to quit smoking.

(there. Hows that for buzzwords TAC?)

I could not have quit smoking without the education in nicotine addiction and support in beating the addiction.

Quitting smoking was liberating. How great it is to say "I do not smoke. I quit smoking" I found an Easy Way to Quit Smoking.

I chose cold turkey to beat the cravings, and the cravings were not as bad as I thought they might be. The short term and long term effects on my health are extremely positive.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
