Congratulations @Sunshine, you flew through the hardest month of them all and should be super proud of yourself :) I hope you do something special for yourself today because you deserve it! And thank you for being so active and supportive here :) source.gif.b6f621a9c7614fa5062e081169a28c09.gif

Congratulations, Sunshine.  I was one month smoke free on the tenth.  Still no desire to pick one up.  Triggers, yes.  How could their not be after 64 years of smoking.  But no desires.  Has to be God’s mercy because I couldn’t do it myself.  🙏

Me, too, @JudiMD - I hit my month anniversary on March 10 also. So impressed that you've made it after 64 years! Hope you are healing okay from your surgery.

Yes, I’m healing slowly.  But it took many years to get where I was, so I can’t complain about the slow healing process.  He said 8 weeks and it’s only been four, so I need to be patient.  I’m just happy to be cancer free and smoke free at last.  Lesson learned the hard way.  🙏

“Smoking is doing nothing for me. It is killing me slowly. Being here these pastfew days has helped me stay the course.”
Your words one month ago! I believe you still mean every one of them! You are doing great! Congratulations on a whole months quit! 🤗

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
