A little bit about myself..............

I came to America in 1984, with $400 and a position as an understudy in a ballet and modern dance company.......... I do have to say that it was scarier than stopping smoking..............because I did it alone, with barely any knowledge of English ..........................

A few songs played continuously in my Walkman (do you remember the Walkman?) ................and this was one of them ..............

Im a huge fan of the Canadian band, The Tragically Hip.

This song  "Wheat Kings" tells the story of David Milgaard, a young Winnipeg-born hippie wrongly convicted of the grisly rape and murder of Saskatchewan nurse Gail Miller. He served his full sentence before being exonerated by DNA evidence.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
