Hi Judi, I'm pretty new also. I quit on 1/8. I have had several quits that didn't stick. You are doing great! Keep up the good work

Thanks, Linda.  I’m still quit but I’m surprised I’m still married!  LOL

I’m so cranky I can’t stand being around myself.  I’d like to get away from me, but everywhere I go, there I am.

I hope you’re doing it with a happier face than I am.  Hang in there.  👍🏼

@Judithis too shall pass.  I never used a swear word before I started quitting.  I had been married 41 years and found that tears and yelling had not affect anymore.  The day I let my first f*** out my husband took notice!  I loved the power I gained with my quit!  Yes, I was crabby in the beginning of my quit.  Now, I mean business😀!

@Judi HI!

Glad to see you here! You are doing Great!

I am also in the early part of my quit. I understand what you are saying about being cranky and not being able to get away from your own self. As I understand it, these feelings should get better the longer we stay quit.

We can keep doing this!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
